LRE
LRE stands for least restrictive environment Least restrictive environment states that children with disabilities should be able to learn in the same general education classroom with other non-disabled student (Heward, 2013). They should have the use of supplementary aids and services and should only be removed from general education classrooms if they are not able in the classroom to fully achieve their academic and functional potential even with the assist of supplementary aids and services ( Heward, 2013).
